A War in Words - An Iraqi Family Diary

"A War in Words - An Iraqi Family Diary" on CBC Newsworld (channel 26 inToronto) at 8pm Sunday March 20th, is the result of long hours of work, here in Baghdad, in Amman and in Canada.
Its the last and longest peace that CBC did about me, and my family.
I hope you like it:)

Mabrouk, Khalid!

I'm very impressed that somebody I know is a bona fide TV star! Well done.

Oh, and ignore the sour grapes from our undercover troll. There's always somebody jealous of the success of others.

Hello Khalid,

My name is Lynn and I live in Ottawa, Canada. I watched Correspondant last night and was deeply touched by your family's experience. It was the first time I watched Correspondant and I'm going to tune in more often from now on. My life is so ridiculously normal that I need to stay in touch with everything else that is happening in this world. Have things improved somewhat since you filmed? This is the first time I blog and I could go on for hours...

Congratulations, Khalid. I'm sorry I'm only reading about this today (Tuesday) - I would have asked my parents in Canada to tape it for me if I'd known about it a couple of days ago.

Any word on whether they will be showing it again?

Shawn.

Hi Khalid,

I just found out (thanks to Najma) that CBC Newsworld is re-running the show again three times this weekend:

Saturday at 4 PM
Saturday at 8 PM
Sunday morning at 4 AM.

I've asked my dad in Canada to tape it for me so I can watch it when I'm up there in April.

Congratulations again!

Shawn.

hi,
just wondering if there are any American tv channels who might be airing the show? I really wanted to see it, unfortunately I live in the U.S.

thanks,
Nancy
