Oh cool ! Thanks for reminding me. I'm not sure how this democracy thing is going to pan out - I vote for a different blog every 24 hours (I just voted for you :).

I would delete your comment but have left it up in the hopes that some day we may be able to trace you by your paraphrasing and then we can torment you by reciting endless tracts from Riverbend outside your bedroom window at night.

Emigre,

As Ladybird and Dilnareen and Fayrouz already know, Iraqi Bloggers Central is back in business. Full Steam Ahead!

I have a scoop today that ought to interest you.

Saddam Hussein "Retires" Top General!

Check it out. If you want to return me to your sidebar, I would not object.

Thanks.

Hi Jeffrey

Yes, I noticed. Btw - you have never actually left the blogroll.

And I'm Julia from Oceania - Fiction Department. If it gets on your nerves, why do you keep coming back?

You are absolutely right Emigre....Why do I keep returning? I'm addicted, like others, to the Iraqi blogs, but I'm making an early New Years resolution: No more reading Iraqi blogs for me.....I wish them well but enough is enough.....

My apologies to you Emigre and Riverbend.

Farewell,
WS-NC

Emigre,

I never left the blogroll?

D'oh!

Sorry, and thanks for keeping me on even while moribund.

Hey, but remember? You used to have me in MY OWN SPECIAL CATEGORY?

Now THAT was nice!

*nudge nudge*
*wink wink*

"Iraq the model" was an obvious psyop
fake blog,
about how wonderful it was in Bagdhad.
After I left a comment there, my url got banned.
For a while, whenever I was near a free intenet,
I would post a sickenly effusive praise comment on
"Iraq the model" I intended to anounce my efforts,
but I got bored.
It seems that 63% believed my fake praise!
I understand that ItM says it may not be perfect in Iraq
now. I havnt read it for months.

LOL. It is no secret why Iraq the Model is getting the most votes.

That site tells hordes of Americans what they want to hear, making them feel good about themselves for supporting Bush's Iraq war and occupation.

Don't believe me? Then ask yourself what would happen if the brothers at Iraq the Model started criticizing the US. Their "popularity" would suffer in a hurry.
