You are right. Absolutely correct. It is a long time since anything's been counted around here. And seeing as ihath just beat me to counting the only (as far as I know at this moment) new Iraq blog I shall resort instead to counting, in the communal spirit of community, the top 10 sites (apart from google) that send traffic this way.

Thanks Emigre for honestly reporting those stats. It is curious that, although I stopped updating Iraqi Bloggers Central back in late August, I still get a lot of traffic. I like to think that they're reading my best-of links to old entries.
My teaching schedule is just too tight to allow me to re-start the blog, but I have about a month off in late-December and early-January when I'll be able to fire up the hibachi again. I'll let you know when that happens.
We disagree on quite a few issues but you've been fair-minded and I appreciate that.
The BIG NEWS is that one of the Jarrars has decided to open a comments page. Yep, Raed's raedinthemiddle now lets us respond to his ... um ... how can I be dipomatic about this? ... Baghdad Bobbish "news."
