how the hell did no one know about this? Now I really do have an excuse to urgently learn arabic!
You are actually talking about the tip of the iceberg here - Maktoob is only one of many. But then the differnce is between MSN Spaces and Blogger. Where you draw the line at what a blog is and is not?
So now that we have that cleared up, who is going to count them all and update this site?
Also, I am still receiving unsolicited promotional material from Iraqis advertising their wares.
Iraqis who read this site; emigre is largely out of the loop, please confer with your more active compatriots re publicity.
Maybe somebody could submit an 'Iraq book count' to Iraq blog count, to complement all of the blogs that we have here.
Yes, I am impersonating myself and no this is not my usual sign in with the flower.

e.
They're all in blog format: updated posts in reverse chronological order and with comments sections.
By the way, msn spaces and live journal are also blogs, but I haven't checked if there are any Iraqis hosted there.
Oh, so there are still only officially 222 Iraq blogs?
Bummer. I was hoping there were more. Nevermind.
I found an msn one once back when spaces first started and counted it - but the regular offenders here seem to prefer blogger.
I guess it's one of those situations where no matter how hard you try to be inclusive, social netware still has a habit of developing branded communities.
Glad to see you still around.
