Kia Ora Baghdad
No Pain No Gain; another new blog, published by an Iraqi New Zealander. Sara, posting under web-name Baghdad, left Iraq during a previous Gulf War which she calls "the" Gulf War with the heart warming human tendency we have in claiming wars according to personal impact. I guess she means the one in the early 90's, because when in living memory has there not been a war involving the Gulf? Oop, there i go doing it too, my living memory is probably not really that long. Anyway, encouraged to take up blogging by friends (and Zeyad) Baghdad contributes yet another perspective from her uniquely pacific location.
(Afterall ~ the blogosphere does not revolve around the Northern hemisphere ;)
She came all the way from Seleucia
Had a blind date with destiny
And the sound of Te Awamutu
Had a truly sacred ring...

The owner of the blog, No Pain No Gain, has just viewed this post :) ...Ahh well, thank you for advertising it. Deeply appreciated.
Tell me something I don't know, there's more than one gulf war now? hehe..So people are now considering the attack on Iraq 2 years ago to be another so called "Gulf War" or...? I have no doubt that Arabs have 'not' yet learnt the new lifestyle that do not involve wars, but I suppose they need to get over their so called unique ideology of life. (note: not about religion, it's about individuals)
Above all, thank you again for putting some time to let people acknowledge about the new blog.
PS: The blogosphere was revolved around the Southern hemisphere ever since blogs were created. But NZers are like kiwis and Australians are like Koalas/kangaroos (Aussies); we usually take a peek and then become apart of it after we adapt with the new technology.
ah, you are right, it is all just one long war.
