humming to myself...

This whole world may never change
The way it's always been
I know all the ways of war
Can not change it back again

I've been searching
for the dolphins in the sea
Sometimes i wonder
do you ever think of me

I'm not the one to tell this world
How to get along
I only know that peace will come
When all the hate is gone

I've been searching
for the dolphins in the sea
Sometimes i wonder
do you ever think of me

Sometimes i think about
Saterday's child
And all about the time
You and me were running wild

I've been searching
for the dolphins in the sea
Sometimes i wonder
do you ever think of me

This whole world may never change
This whole world may never change

I see someone is wanting to go to the beach. It's still cold in Sydney, isn't it?

Your poem reminded me of Darling Harbor for some reason. Maybe I'm home sick.

i did write a poem at bondi once but these are actually the lyrics to Beth Orton & Terry Callier singing dolphins in duet (on pass in time which i've been playing the last third of over and again this week).

the surfers off Bondi Beach
their heads bobbing in the breakers
like flies on spilt beer
one catchs a wave, two, three
one after the other
they hover and settle again
in a collapse of foam
like flies

unless you meant the bondi poem, which is 100% original emigre material.

No Iraque, j? se viu,
O povo se decidiu.
N?o foi a quem o pariu,
Ao contr?rio,
Saiu do arm?rio:
Armado de carabina,
Esperando atr?s da esquina,
N?o teme carro blindado,
Sabe matar um soldado.
Enfrentou o bombardeio,
Sabe vencer tiroteio.
Sabotou o oleoduto,
O gringo ficou muito puto:
O petr?leo sumiu!
O preço subiu!
O mercado se arrepiou!
Mas o iraquiano gostou...
Tanto fez que mereceu,
Pois mostrou para o que veio.
E n?o h? americano
Pr? manter a escravid?o
Por mais um ano:
J? perdeu, e foi feio.
O Iraque ser? livre
Pois l? ninguém é cordeiro!

E você ô Brasileiro?
Onde est?,
?h patuleia?
Larga de ser bund?o!
Armado de muita idéia,
Venha pr? Revoluç?o!
