I saw the light on the night....

Hmmmm.. Delilah speaks, and everyone better listen!

:) a Blogger reviewing other bloggers, strong style, and interesting character (interesting in the "good" sense, and not in the "chinese" sense)

i hope this is another bonafide blog-find for me.

take care all.

(i am in anticipation of being reviewed by El Delilah, i hope i will not be found wanting)

Whats Gardenomy ?

in this newest blog-find after the comeback (and probably the FIRST by yours truly), the writers go on about defining the "Garden" -Iraqi style.

3- post strong, a fresh blog with a fresh point of view, that of the iraqi Hashash (another word which holds a unique iraqi meaning)

Philosophy + Crap == Philocrapy. Enjoy

Conspiracy Theory

I have pondered this over and over, I am not sure, but I still have to present this for public scrutiny:

Theory: I believe that someone is tampering with Iraqi Blogs, deleting and possessing them at his/her/their will.

Here are some of the things that lead to this conclusion:

1. Some Iraqi blogs, who are listed at the left, have been replaced by blogs that more or less bear the same general features: a one page post, three links to the left, at least of 1 of which has pornorgaphy content, the words forming the title are joined together: chiefofallmaladies, the creation date is somewhere 2006, while their position on the list suggests they were created earlier, nobody noticed this because of these blogs are way obscure.

these blogs include:

1. Sanyora, blog re-created July 06 new owner is named m1str34t3d
2. Theomania, blog re-created May 06, owner: 1rr3sp0ns1bl3
3. Blog re-created June 06, owner: k1ssm3n
4. http://chiefofallmaladies, May 06, j0lly1ng...

Of course, there's the chance that these blogs were deleted by their original owners and the name was reclaimed, but the odds of it being claimed by the exact same person is quite surprising!

then again, there is a case in which I am sure the blog was not deleted by the owner:

5. Day By Day:, This was by Saif al-Yassin (you can see the post introducing him to IBC below), I am sure because he is one of the four friends of mine who were killed in a double-car explosion June 11, 2006.

6. Truth About Iraqis' This was the case that attracted people's attention...the new owner seems something different, or maybe another facet of the same guy, who knows?

7. Iraqi Rocker used to be, but it is my belief that he changed his name, as the guy didn't complain and all his archive was carried along.

and last but definitely not least, the malicious attack on IBC just a few days ago...

Tell me what you think.

Normal service has been resumed

The management apologises for the interruption in service of Iraq Blog Count. We are back and we are proud.

Shortly after Liminal's post on The Qana Massacre, IBC was maliciously deleted. Until I have some concrete evidence, I will not make any wild allegations as to who is responsible. That is what the comments section is for ;)
